| Proc: This preparation has a clear amber color and produces a white emulsion in water, but leaves no stain when in diluted form. Heat the pine oil and rosin together in a porcelain container until the rosin has dissolved. Cool this mixture to a temperature of 140F, and slowly stir in the caustic soda solution. In 30 minutes, saponification should be complete. One part of this mixture, dissolved in about 40 parts of water is strong enough to disinfect toilets, bathtubs, basins, garbage receptacles, and similar articles. It may be used in "liquid" form or packed in pump-type spray containers. |

| Proc: Dissolve the ingredients in 36 parts of water. Dissolve 5 grains of thymol and 1/4 oz. of oil of rosemary in 3 quarts of alcohol, and add this solution to each half gallon of the previous mixture. |

| Proc: Dissolve 1 tablespoonful of the above mixtyre in 1 gallon of water, and apply 1/4 pint of this solution (not more often than once every 7 days) to a plant occupying a 6 inch box. A little more may be used if the box is larger. Pour the solution on the soil of the plant, not on the leaves; it will be necessary to stir this preparation if it has remained standing. |

| Preparations for killing roaches are generally in the form of a powder to be sprinkled in places which are frequented by insects. A common formula for this purpose, works out for a sales winner!
Proc: Mix the ingredients thoroughly. Borax may also be mixed with any type of food that easily draw roaches.
