Bible tribes return home irc humanitarian rescue ancient people
Reading the Bible as a child, as an eastern history book, surprisingly I always managed an "A" in my history classes.
Many years later, I had questions about the "Lost Tribes of Israel".
Raiders of The Lost Ark added fuel to the fire.
I was very pleased to discover that the International Rescue Committee DNA program has undisputed proof, several of these lost tribes had been located, the irc humanitarian aid is now returning these people to Israel
In my city of Columbus, Ohio there is a large population of Ethiopian people, and to my surprise, one of the Lost Tribes were Ethiopians from Cush (Ethiopia) Bible Interpretation
Suddenly the world changed for me, I had an examining look on my face I'm sure whenever I saw a possible lost descendants of King Solomon.
Future examination led me to the thought and programs of charities that are locating and returning;
"The Lost Tribes of Israel"
It was early in 1998 that a group of lost Jews, known as Beta Yisrael, or "House of Israel" was discovered in Ethiopia. These families and individuals are decendants of the Israeli tribe of Dan, one of the ten "lost" tribes of ancient Israel, that were scattered throughout the world after Israel's conquest by Assyria in 722 BCE. And until recently, many of these scattered tribes had never been heard from!
"When those lost Jews were found in Kwara region of Ethiopia, we agreed to help provide for their rescue and resettlement." Lee said.
Resettling them in Israel is a major challenge, since they are coming from a rural way of life that has not changed much in centuries to the high-tech world of modern Israel.
"In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the remnant that is left of his people...from Cush [Ethiopia]."
This is nothing less than Bible prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes, and it is very exciting. God willing, the "lost tribe" of Dan will all soon be home in Israel!
Another Lost Tribe!
This tribe with an ancient history are called the Bnei Menashe, or "Sons of Mamasseh."
They are living in a remote corner of India almost on the border with Myanmar (formerly Burma)
